OSA Rochester Section is an enthusiastic group of educators, students, engineers, scientists, and business leaders who are dedicated to promoting optics education and the continued growth of our Rochester optics community.

Our section includes optics educators and students from high school through advanced graduate research. Our educational institutions are inspiring and educating the next generation of optical innovators and support fundamental research and cutting-edge applications.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in ROC Optica is a great way to get connected to our Rochester optics community. Members receive notifications about our monthly talks and other events and are invited to participate in ROC Optica outreach events. Dues also support the Bob Novak OSA-RS Scholarship for the Optical Technology program at Monroe Community College and the Optics Suitcase outreach project.
